Do you listen to Mortified? If we've met, I've likely told you to. It's a podcast that features people reading embarrassing things they had written as kids: diaries, poems, fan letters, you name it. It sounds random, but you'll be instantly hooked. Brian and I can't get enough of it. We listened to at least 10 episodes on a trip to Nashville last summer, laughing uncontrollably. You can find all the episodes here.

Last weekend we went to a live taping in Rogers Park, and it was so, so fun. One of the readers read a play she had written 20 years ago that included a Days of Our Lives star she was obsessed with when she was 14, and the actress surprised her on Skype on a big screen and read her lines. We were in tears! If you're looking for something fun and different to do one weekend, I can't recommend a show enough.
