I'm a big cheesecake fan. A huge one. I know my stuff. This story won't prove that and it'll do nothing but embarrass myself, but in high school I was obsessed with these Philadelphia cheesecake bars, and I'd eat like three every day after school (yep, half the box). Then, during sophomore year health class, we had to keep a food journal, and I wrote down very honestly what I ate every day, never missing even a piece of gum. A few weeks in, my teacher sat me down and basically said that after school ritual was wack. So I started lying in the food journal.
ANYWAY, we were kind of skeptical to try the cheesecake, being the dairy, "real cheese," fans we are around here, but it was so rich and creamy, we really couldn't tell the difference. PLUS, all the ingredients are natural, no artificial coloring or flavors, non-GMO, no cholesterol, animal products, MSG. I think my health teacher would approve. I jazzed up the New York one a bit with some strawberries and grated chocolate, and we're eager to try strawberry and chocolate next. We've also got a pizza and some cream cheese to try. Is it a home cooked meal if we invite friends over for frozen pizza?
What do you think, would you try it? You can find Daiya products at your local grocery store or fill out this product request form.
