I own a lot of things. A lot more things than necessary in this little one-bedroom apartment. A lot of books, a lot of clothes, a lot of makeup. We have three colanders in the kitchen since you never know when you need to drain 30 pounds of spaghetti at once. A lot of shoes, an unfathomable, embarrassing number of matching pajama sets, but mostly, a lot of jewelry. In an effort to downsize and start a more minimalist wardrobe, I've been selling, donating (and storing at my parents' house) a lot of the clothes and jewelry I own, and as I make new purchases, I keep two things in mind — simplicity and quality.

Since getting engaged last November, my engagement ring is almost all the jewelry I wear, and if I add a necklace, it's typically something simple, like this Anjolee one — with high quality CZs so sparkly and beautiful, I can only imagine how gorgeous the real diamonds are — or this little gold bar. Both are light and versatile and an investment in my wardrobe, unlike the bags of broken cheap bracelets and necklaces I've worn once but kept in a big pile over the years.

To join my simplicity, quality, colander-hoarding journey, Anjolee is giving away a diamond pendant necklace to one lucky reader. Yahoo! The company makes some of the most beautiful, sparkliest things around, and even though this one will be with CZs and not diamonds, don't let me stop you! Treat yourself with some of their best bling ;-) Like this diamond bracelet! Yes, definitely that bracelet.

The giveaway will close on Wednesday, September 30 . One randomly selected winner will be notified by email on October 1, 2015. Open to U.S. readers only. Good luck!
