My parents, brother and sister are spending the summer in Iran, and I've selfishly been a bit bummed about it. My summers spent there with my family growing up were some of the best times of my life, and we haven't all gone together in seven years. We have lots of instant messaging group texts between my family here, in Australia and Iran, and each night my family has been sending all the groups recap photos from their day, and every day Brian and I marvel at them. Last night we headed to the lake for a little picnic after work and showed them photos of our beautiful city (and discussed our plans to visit Iran! Eek!). I love this city, but I can't wait to go back to the other ones I love just as much.

Also, I got this thing thinking it was regular, meaty sausage (for Brian, of course), and it so was not.

Oh, and my pullover was courtesy of Whistle & Flute. And I know you're like, "Isn't that stuff for kids?" No guys, their adult stuff rocks.

P.S. Remember this same lake six months ago?
