Learn How to Use my Camera Manually

Friday, May 9, 2014

Last Sunday, in an attempt to improve our photography and check an item off my list, Brian and I took a free photography class (free every Sunday!) to learn about aperture, shutter speed and all sorts of other things you can control when taking a photo. It was a great start, and we tried to get really artsy after the class, but judging by the fact that this photo is blurry and the rest aren't any better, I've got a ways to go.

We're lucky to know some great professional photographers. My friend James, who teaches photography for National Geographic, has sent me cheat sheets he uses with his students, so the materials are there. Now it's time to put them into use. Any tips? We'd love to hear them. And have a great weekend!!!!!!!!
