Rosemary Gin Fizz

We spent Saturday stocking up Brian's bar cart with essentials (it's almost ready!) and rewarded ourselves in the afternoon with this delicious cocktail. It's subtly herby, light, refreshing and perfect for summer (if it ever comes). We served it to some friends later that night, and they loved it! The woodsy rosemary smell is just so homey. I want to sit on a patio, sip this and chat all nightif it ever stops raining around here.

Ingredients (four servings):
1 cup rosemary simple syrup (Boil one cup of sugar in one cup of water with a couple rosemary sprigs thrown in. Boil until sugar is dissolved. Let cool)
1 cup gin
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 bottle Prosecco

Directions:
Stir ingredients together in a punch bowl or carafe, and garnish with springs of rosemary and lemon slices.
