The Best Hot Chocolate Recipe

After I graduated college, my body started rejecting caffeine. I was a big coffee drinker, and one day it decided enough was enough. This year, my body has decided it's also giving up lactose, and like caffeine, it's not budging. I've started making compromises, but hot chocolate with hot water wasn't one I was willing to make. Hot chocolate is supposed to be made with real chocolate and milk, powdered stuff and water doesn't cut it around here. 

Luckily this recipe calls for a combination better than any hot chocolate with dairy milk. For a single serving I'd recommend one cup of almond milk, 2/3 cup light coconut milk and 5 ounces of this chocolate. So rich, so delicious. 

I toasted marshmallows in the oven, and I swear they didn't look this terrible when they first came out. And they tasted great. Do it.
